Nanny Bans Chav Tranquilizer

As racing aficionados know, it is the Cheltenham Festival. As such the bookies are doing what they do best, and are competing with each other to promote their "wares".

My commiserations to Paddy Power, who put filmed an advert (see above), who have had their advert banned before it was even shown on TV.

Needless to say, the banning of the advert has meant that the video on YouTube has gone viral, and #ChavTranquiliser is trending on Twitter.

Clever Paddy Power, using Nanny's rules against her!

  1. Chav culture is common within our nation and many events are ruined by the chav element.

One thing that annoys me, and makes us all look like chavs, is the need by so many, to wave and act the goat when they see a TV camera......I get sick to death of watching live news broadcasts, only to have some idiot grining and waving in the background. All too often, these same idiots are on their chav phones, telling their friends/families to switch on the TV because they're on TV.

I like the advert and feel sad that we live in such a restricted society that it is banned by the state reps.
