The Joy of Cat Litter

I see that the media, government and weather "experts" are all screaming at us that the coldest winter in 400 years is about to begin today, and that when you wake up and read this we will all be covered in a thick blanket of snow.

That'll be the global warming then!

Hmmm, well call me cynical but I don't have much faith in the weather forecasters.

In the unlikely event that we are covered in snow, given the mass hysteria of the media et al there will be absolutely no excuse for the train companies, airports and councils not to have done some decent prep beforehand and for all services to be running smoothly and efficiently.

Yes???

However, I will give you a tip if you find yourselves snowbound without any grit to hand...cat litter!

It works a treat, I recommend that you buy a ton of the stuff just in case.

In related news, did I mention that I am a proud shareholder in one of the world's largest cat litter mines? (which has the cat shit market by the bollocks)...;)

  1. I used cat litter last year but I let the cats pee in it first. That was a mistake.

I've been stock piling Sainsburys value salt all year so I'm sorted this time.

  2. In my household, cat litter seems to be the last place my cats would choose to crap. At last now I have a use for my mini-stockpile of the stuff!

Thanks for the tip Ken. :)

  4. "Global Warming" is so last decade. The proper term these days is "Climate Change," since if there's one thing you can count on from month to month, year to year, it's that the weather -- or if you prefer "climate" -- is going to change.

And you know what, if the climate didn't change, that'd be a crisis too.

Mr Potato Head: In my expereience, if you spend money on anything for the cat, you can guarrantee that is the one thing the cat will REFUSE to use!
Seriously, with all the warnings we have had, there is absolutely no excuse for 'the authorities' not to be prepared, so there should be minimal disruption....! We shall see!

@BlackSea //the weather -- or if you prefer "climate" -- is going to change.//

But the important thing to remember is that there is a consistent upward trend. Anything else is minor blips, and not statistically relevant.
